Royal Sweden Trout Caviar is a type of caviar made from European Rainbow Trout. It is rich in Alpha-Linolenic Acid (ALA), Eicosapentaenoic Acid (EPA) and Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA), which together make up the most important Omega-3 fatty acids. It is also a delicious alternative to salmon roe or ikura, and can be used in sushi dishes or as an ingredient or ornament for a variety of fish dishes.
The Caviar from the European Rainbow Trout convinces through its colour and texture. Trout Caviar, with its eggs slightly smaller than those of the salmon, is a delicious alternative to its more expensive salmon roe ("Keta") or the original caviar from the sturgeon and can be used instead of "Ikura" (Japanese Salmon Roe) in sushi dishes as well as an ingredient or ornament for a variety of fish dishes.
